We celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival on 21^st September 2021. We recalled the origin story of the festival – Chang’e and Hou Yi and discovered some traditions practices over the world. We also explored the mooncakes and pomelo, food that we savour on this day. We then participated enthusiastically in activities and games, such as kneading our very own mooncakes using play dough, pounding “muah chee” with flour, decorating our mini lanterns, carrying lanterns and taking a walk in the school, and balancing a pomelo using sticks.
