The Camberley Story

Camberley Preschool was founded in 2011, offering inquiry-based preschool education combined with Mandarin immersion for children aged 18 months to 6 years of age in Singapore.

Our philosophy is to offer your child comfort, fun, care, safety while respecting their inner world and valuing them as unique individuals. And for the parents, peace of mind comes from knowing that your child is in the best of hands. Each day promises an exciting adventure, and we make sure every child is experiencing the joy of learning.

Our team of highly qualified and committed educators strive to be your partner in raising your child. We are completely transparent in our programs and curriculum, we continuously self-assess and look to improve, and we make communication with you a paramount part of the childcare environment.

The Camberley Difference

  • Chinese Cultural Immersion

Our teachers at Camberley instruct children in English and Mandarin throughout their curriculum and personal, social, and physical education. As the children speak, read and write in both languages in a conducive environment, it promotes cultural understanding and opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

  • Sustainability Leadership

At Camberley, we want our children to be aware of how their actions can impact the environment and those around them. That's why our sustainable practice, supplemented by ecological and environmental advocacy, is infused into every bit of the curriculum. As the children work with others to explore, learn, and devise a realistic course of action to address sustainability topics, they are interacting with others to inspire change. This builds not only self-confidence and responsibility but also leadership capabilities from an early age.

  • Inquiry-Based Approach

Camberley's curriculum is focused on building a progressive, inquiry-based programme tailored to each child's curiosity, experiences and growth. Grounded in interest-based investigations, our highly qualified educators create observational opportunities and meaningful projects while facilitating children to take ownership of their discoveries and learning. We make the most of every child's unique strengths so that they can be joyful, confident and lifelong learners.

  • Our after-school enrichment programmes help children develop their creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving and collaboration skills through fun and interactive activities. Children are free to broaden their horizon, enhance their skills and deeply explore programmes, including visual arts, creative writing, cooking and speech and drama.

Our pre-schools provide 3 quality meals a day – breakfast, lunch and tea – depending on the type of programme your child is enrolled in. We have 4 menu sets that are rotated through a calendar month. Our meals are prepared in accordance with dietary guidelines from the Early Childhood Development Agency and the Health Promotion Board of Singapore. Ours meals are also certified healthy by the Health Promotion Board of Singapore.
